Hello, After booting into the recent Proxmox kernel 7.0.14-23-pve, my system encounters critical hardware and storage errors during startup, forcing it into an unstable state. Hardware Specs: - CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K - Motherboard chipset: Intel Z97 / 9-series Observed Errors from dmesg / Journal: [ 2.311073] zfs: module license 'CDDL' taints kernel. Proxmox Storage Recovery Challenge: Help Us Design a Realistic Data Loss Experiment
Hi! First, a quick disclosure. I'm one of the developers at Hetman Software, a Ukrainian company that has been developing commercial data recovery software for over 15 years. I hope this doesn't come across as self-promotion. I'd like to propose a technical experiment, get feedback from experienced Proxmox administrators, and share what we find, including any failures or limitations. The idea is to build a Proxmox VE test environment, deliberately break something, and investigate what... Read more

BGP router-id
Hi Is there any way of changing the router-id for the EVPN BGP. It uses multicast addresses by default and I can't connect it to the rest of my VXLAN domain since the network equipment wont talk to a device with a router-id that is a multicast address. I can't find anywhere in the config to change it permanently. I can change it in frr.conf and vtysh. But when I hit apply it returns to a multicast address. I have tried to add it to my frr.conf.local but it won't stick, the rest of the... Read more
