Think Twice 2026: October 17 Brussels Conference Updates

Think Twice 2026: AI, Governance and the Choices Ahead Pirate Parties International (PPI), together with the European Pirates (PPEU), is organizing Think Twice 2026 on 17 October 2026 in Brussels, Belgium. The conference will focus on AI & Governance: Opportunities and Risks for Digital Freedom. Artificial intelligence is no longer something we can think of as belonging to the distant future. ELECTIONS AND VOTING

Pirate Party of Israel is Running in October 2026 elections

The Pirate Party of Israel is back on the ballot! Israel is a very contentious country, featuring a vast range of political ideologies. Why can’t our social media accounts be online forever? When we die our friends and family are still there. They want to remember us, and our social media accounts are one important way for them to look back and remember us. However, a recent article by Koa DeMarzo called “A Case Against Forever,” https://www.techpolicy.press/a-case-against-forever-why-cloud-and-social-media-need-inactivitybased-deletions/ frames indefinite data …
