Dandelion will return in The Witcher 4, but don't expect him to feature much in Songs of the Past

The final expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is on the horizon. Next year, Geralt gets one last adventure before handing the reins over to Ciri in Songs of the Past. We'll travel to Letten, a new open-world region which has a connection with one of Geralt's oldest friends in Dandelion. As Letten is the bard's family home, you'd think he'd have quite a big role to play in the story of Songs of the Past. According to his Polish voice actor Jacek Kopczy艅ski, though, that may not be the case. As reported on the Facebook page Wied藕minlandia (via Wccftech), Kopczy艅ski revealed that he has recorded new voice lines for Dandelion, but not for the new expansion. Instead, he's only been called in for The Witcher 4, confirming his appearance in the upcoming game. "Regarding the upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled 'Songs of the Past', the actor mentioned that he is still waiting for an invitation to the studio to read the script and record lines, as he has not been brought in yet. This is notable because information previously surfaced indicating CD Projekt RED plans to invite both Kopczy艅ski and Jacek Rozenk (the Polish voice of Geralt) for a stream dedicated to the expansion," reads the post on social media from Wied藕minlandia. Kopczy艅ski could just be covering his involvement here, but considering he revealed he's been doing work for The Witcher 4, that seems doubtful. We're not far from the release window for Songs of the Past, and you'd expect Dandelion to have been voiced by now if he had a significant role. Maybe, just as the case was for Blood & Wine, he just has more of a cameo appearance. Either way, Geralt's last ride won't feel the same without his best bud. <bild></bild>

After The Blood of Dawnwalker sees its timer removed, a modder has given Star Wars Zero Company the same treatment

As it turns out, a lot of players don't like the idea of having their gameplay tied to a timer. While they're pretty key components of games like The Blood of Dawnwalker and Star Wars Zero Company, they also mean you're definitely not going to see everything on your first run, and some side content will remain a mystery to you unless you load another save. Modder Caites (the same modder who did The Blood of Dawnwalker mod), has fixed that issue. With the Mission and Campaign Time Control mod for Star Wars Zero Company, you can not only do every mission available to you within a cycle, but you can also instantly win missions with the press of a button. This pretty much takes away a lot of the game's core, especially the auto-win button, but it's more designed for people who want to run through the game again without having to deal with the slower, early hours where you're learning a lot. Already, the mod has racked up a lot of downloads, numbering in the thousands, and so it's clear that until Bit Reactor adds some sort of post-game or New Game Plus, this is how some people will be charging ahead on their second playthroughs. <bild></bild>

James Gunn answers fan query about Tom Holland potentially joining the DC Universe

While there are a few actors and stars who have made the jump from Marvel to DC (and the occasional DC to Marvel in the unexpected "Cavillrine" sense), we don't often see talent who has worked for one of the comic book titans moving over and also joining the other, especially in regards to the still active theatrical universes. Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan will be playing roles in the coming The Batman - Part 2, but this film is regarded as an Elseworlds project, meaning it's not part of the main DC Universe as it stands, further emphasising the lack of crossover between the DCU and the Marvel Cinematic Universe's talent pool. Regardless of this being the case, fans are still eager for their favourite stars to make the leap from the MCU to the DCU, including the current box office sensation that is Tom Holland. In a question on Threads, a fan asked DC Studios co-boss James Gunn if Holland could eventually play a part in the DCU, with a few suggestions offered up surrounding younger heroes like Beast Boy, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Mon-El. Gunn pretty much shut this suggestion down. "Not sure 30-year-old Tom wants to follow up Spider-Man with Aqualad." At the moment, it's thought Holland will be returning for at least a few more appearances as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with his exit from the character likely being several years away. This would mean any DCU role would be quite far down the road, if Holland even wants to follow-up such a major superhero job with another role of the sorts. Would you like to see Holland join the DCU at some point? <bild></bild>

Gary Oldman seems to think the next James Bond has been selected and he's hoping it's a Slow Horses co-star

Not that Slow Horses and James Bond exist in the same universe, but if they did, it would be quite the feat for a reject from Slough House to be elevated to the 00 programme at MI5. Still, in this hypothetically-merged world, it's very plausible for Jack Lowden to soon be doing as much, as the Slow Horses star is one of the favourites to take over the mantle as James "007" Bond. Touching on this matter, now Lowden's Slow Horses co-star of the legendary Gary Oldman has spoken about the Bond dilemma, suggesting he seems to know the next 007 has been chosen and that he's hoping Lowden is the man for the job. Speaking with Global News in Canada, Oldman stated the following: "It's been rumoured that he's on the shortlist. We're going to find out pretty soon, aren't we? Because they have picked him. They have made their choice, but they have not announced it yet. So my fingers are crossed for Jack." There are a few other frontrunners for the role of James Bond, but many of these are higher-profile stars than Lowden, which should work in favour of the Scotsman, as 007 creatives do tend to pick lesser-known stars who then can sculpt into the perfect spy, rather than the other way around. Who would you cast as the next James Bond? <bild></bild>

The Inbetweeners confirmed to be making a comeback with original four stars returning

There have been a multitude of rumours of reports as of late suggesting The Inbetweeners would soon be making a comeback. The comedy series originally became a huge hit in the United Kingdom in the late 2000s, all following three hit seasons of television. In fact, it performed so well it soon evolved into a fully-fledged theatrical film, which even eventually led to a sequel film, of middling reception. Since that second film, The Inbetweeners has been lost to time, with it now being around 12 years since we saw the gang heading out on ridiculous adventures. This wait is soon set to come to a close. Netflix has revealed production has started on The Inbetweeners 3. It'll be a movie building on what came prior, except with the caveat of the cast being much older and well into their adulthood. <social>https://x.com/NetflixUK/status/2096871091180359711</social> While there is no word as of yet in regards to a premiere date nor window, we do at least know the project will reunite the core cast of Simon Bird's Will McKenzie, James Buckley's Jay Cartwright, Blake Harrison's Neil Sutherland, and Joe Thomas' Simon Cooper, with many likely now wondering if the wider supporting cast will play a part. Netflix has yet to confirm anything on this front, but it would hardly be The Inbetweeners without Greg Davies' Phil Gilbert, for example. Are you looking forward to the return of The Inbetweeners? <bild></bild>
