Laika has revealed the second & final official trailer for the movie called Wildwood, their next epic stop-motion animation adventure movie landing in theaters in October this fall. Just over a month left! They've been developing it for years and it's finally ready and it looks incredible. An expansive, emotional, wondrous adventure into the woods - with the same scale as Lord of the Rings. After multiple featurettes, behind-the-scenes looks, and other trailers, this one gives us the most emotional intro ever. The main character of Prue was revealed in a 2024 first look – Prue McKeel (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) and her friend Curtis are drawn into a hidden, magical forest near Portland, Oregon after Prue's baby brother Mac is kidnapped by crows and a mysterious woman. The voice cast includes Jacob Tremblay, Carey Mulligan, Awkwafina, Jemaine Clement, Charlie Day, Jake Johnson, Amandla Stenberg, Tom Waits, Richard E. Prime Video revealed an official trailer for a Mexican horror comedy mini-series titled I Would Rather Die, originally known as Prefiero la Muerte in Spanish. It's ready for streaming in October for everyone to enjoy. "Between being a teen and being a teen zombie, growing up has never been this hard." The zombie comedy (zomcom) series has similar vibes to 2013 horror comedy Warm Bodies with Nicolas Hoult, also about an undead boyfriend. In this one, Archie is the ultimate high-school loser in the sleepy Mexican town of Mendoza — until he gets bitten by a zombie at the corner mini-mart. Now stuck between puberty and the undead, he teams up with his goth best friend and his platonic crush to stop an evil plot that could send the whole place into a full-blown apocalypse. Lionsgate UK has unveiled the main official trailer for the horror comedy titled Ghosts: The Possession of Button House, a big screen movie version of the hit BBC series of the same name. It's haunting UK cinemas this October. This extra kooky supernatural comedy movie is a continuation of the TV sitcom "Ghosts" (running from 2019 - 2023) though no US release is set yet. Netflix has unveiled the full official trailer for the film titled Animals directed by and starring Ben Affleck, his latest since Air in 2024. Ready to watch right away in early October - it will be streaming on Netflix and available in limited theaters (not sure how many). When their son is kidnapped, a Los Angeles mayoral candidate and his wife find themselves drawn into a web of deception. Aardman Animation & Studiocanal revealed a delightful behind-the-scenes promo video for the movie Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, the Halloween-themed stop-motion animated movie coming up to watch in theaters staring this month. It's the next new Aardman-crafted Shaun the Sheep movie and it's playing in theaters worldwide at the same time. Beast of Mossy Bottom is about what happens when The Farmer's pumpkin patch is strangely trashed & Shaun tries to help figure out how to fix it in time for Halloween. "All the ingredients are in place for a monstrously fun family adventure." Featuring the scary "wild beast" of Mossingham wreaking havoc until Shaun & his flock can figure out how to stop him. I keep saying it because it's true - anything Aardman makes is a must watch! They're the UK version of Laika, celebrating the magic hand-made, hand-crafted, fun-for-all storytelling.
