20 Pumpkin-Inspired Fall Decorations That Should Go Back Inside the Box
## Who doesn't want a rotting, half-carved, terrifying-looking pumpkin in their backyard this fall? (With glasses and cinnamon flavor). If you're passionate about handmade projects and get inspired each season to try the most impossible crafts the internet can possibly offer you. If you also think that you can nail them no problem, even when you have never touched a pair of scissors in your life, this message is for you:please, watch the complete tutorial before letting your wild creativity kick in. We love your out-of-the-box ideas, but we also love to sleep soundly at night without getting hunted by unexpectedly terrifying creatures. We really just want to walk by your garden without ending up with residual nightmare fuel. We know your intention wasn't to create a horrifying creature, perfect for Halloween night. We know that, deep down, you just wanted to be like that one influencer that pops up on your feed every single day, who can make wonderful and functional color lights out of some used paper, foil and hot glue. One day, perhaps, but for now, please stick to Spirit. Unless you're actually a DIY pro, in which case we deeply apologize for the disturbing images you're about to see. Fall is almost here, and failing at overly-creative decorative projects will be the number one activity very soon. To get your ideas going, we are hoping that we can inspire you to create the next new pumpkin monster horror protagonist of the season. So, we have dived into a collection of peculiar-looking fall pumpkins that might not be the most masterful, but are certainly the ones that have earned a little (not so crafty) place in our hearts. At the end of the day, the best Halloween ambience often comes from the most unexpected trendy DIY fall decoration videos out there.

ANTHROPOLOGY AND CULTURAL STUDIES
‘They changed it from a weekend of hiking, fishing, hunting, into a couples trip’: Man backs out of a planned guys camping trip after his friends turn it into a couples retreat
Camping with the right people feels like slipping into a hoodie that survived 3 moves, 2 breakups, and a 1-year stay in a car trunk. Doing any activity where everyone knows the routine, the jokes don't need setup, and the decisions happen on a telepathic level requiring only a nod is just the best, whether it's a long weekend of camping or a couple of hours over drinks. And I know this might sound like Guy Talk, but while I am a guy, this is absolutely not about a boys' trip. The way I see it, it's about different social situations and how we act differently in relation to who we're with in these situations. Different social settings have their own unspoken dress codes. At a house party, you can thrive shouting over loud music, competing for aux control with someone attempting karaoke with the confidence of a rockstar during a stadium tour. Dinner with relatives demands softer voices, careful topics, and the emotional labor of pretending your aunt's story about her neighbor's cat is the highlight of the evening. You see my point. So, for this guy, if you change the camping trip crowd, the same weekend turns into a supervised field trip where every activity needs a group vote, and the fire has to follow a manners and etiquette protocol.

'Take meow to the ballgame': Rescue kitten 'ChipPurr Jones' throws the cutest first pitch at Stripers game to purrfectly start off the MLB season
## What better way to start off the MLB season than with a cute rescue kitten that also happens to throw a mean curveball? I'll be the first one to admit that I know next to nothing about baseball. Like almost every young American boy, I played baseball as a kid, but got bored of it quite quickly. Although I may not be an expurrt in baseball, I am an expurrt in cats. That's where ChipPurr Jones comes in. In late August of this year, a staff member from the Gwinnett Stripers rescued a smol orange kitten from a traffic accident. The Stripers, which are the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, decided to adopt him. But he didn't just get adopted by a staff member, he got adopted by the whole team! But that's not all we're here to talk about. ChipPurr has found himself as a star on social media yet again! Yesterday, ChipPurr made his big-league-style debut during the Stipers' pet supply donation night, called "Purr in the Park." Leading him to the pitcher's mount, staff members lured him with treats to deliver an adorable ceremonial furst pitch. From a dangerous encounter with traffic to a baseball field full of cheering fans, this little rescue kitty has become not only the team's newest furry MVP, but he's also become the MVP of our hearts. And who knows, he might even get us to start being interested in baseball again!

FAMILY AND RELATIONSHIPS
Husband leaves wife alone with their 2-year-old and 4-month-old baby for a 2-week-long hunting trip, wife desperate for a compromise: ‘It’s insane to stick [your] wife with solo parenting just [to] burn money for fun.'
## How difficult can solo-parenting be? If your answer is anything other than "extremely difficult," then you don't understand parenting. There is a reason single parents get a lot of praise, and people say "it takes a village" to raise kids. Raising children on your own is not easy. I would go so far to say that it is the hardest position you could ever work. When a couple becomes new parents, it should be known that neither of them is taking any long trips away from each other any time soon. If they have to leave the other, for instance, for an immovable work trip, then you have to help prepare the other for solo parenting. Hire a nanny, a cleaner, invite the grandparents to come help, something! Unfortunately, this husband is unaware of this important fact of parenting and is prioritizing a 2-week-long hunting trip with his friends over helping his postpartum wife with their 2-year-old and 4-month-old children… What would you do in that situation?

Texas tenant contacts property manager to dispute $3,200 security deposit deductions and is told they owe an additional amount totalling $10,000 for landscaping charges over brown grass: 'They’re taking my entire deposit and I owe $6,500 on top of that'
## This tenant, eager to follow up on their security deposit with a property manager who had ghosted them, logged into the online property management portal and discovered $6,000 in "charges" they had never been notified about. When they finally got a hold of the landlord and property manager, it was explained to them that these charges were in addition to the loss of their entire $3,200 security deposit. The reason given? A grass had given up and turned totally brow. The landlord argued the tenant was responsible even though the lawn wasn't in good shape when they moved in 5 years ago. And the heat of summer and lack of maintenance were more responsible for the state of the lawn than anything the tenant felt they had done.
